Born and raised on the windward side of O’ahu, Shari's story first highlights her successful career in the hospitality industry and her reputation for being kind, compassionate, hardworking, relentless, and driven. Despite her successes and achievements, she encountered times of misalignment with her own core values while continuining to advance in leadership positions. From childhood, she possessed an innate ability to sense thoughts and emotions that she couldn't fully comprehend at the time. In early adulthood, her beliefs took a turn when she enrolled in a religion class during college. This experience challenged her existing religious and spiritual beliefs and triggered a shift in her thought patterns, marking the beginning of her spiritual journey. This inner quest for meaning and truth took a major turn when she became very ill and was in and out of the hospital diagnosed with Lupus, during which she first experienced Reiki. This led her to delve deeper into spiritual exploration and began to question various aspects of life, seeking a deeper understanding of herself and the world around her. Her dedication to a stress-free lifestyle and holistic wellness practices has played a significant role in her successful management of the disease as she is currently in remission.

Shari chose to pursue helping others as an energy healer. She expanded her skillset by obtaining a Reiki Master/Teacher certification, which deepened her understanding and practice of Reiki healing. Additionally, she received her diploma as a Certified Hypnotherapist from Hypnosis Motivation Institute, a nationally accredited college to further enhance her abilities as a holistic practitioner.

Acknowledging that everyone’s healing and spiritual journey is unique, she may utilize a combination of techniques and practices to facilitate healing, including imagery, breathwork and the use of a chakra mat. With the combination of these modalities, she aims to achieve optimal healing results for each client.

Shari’s commitment to serving others is a central driving force in her work. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment for her clients. Through her business, Manawa Energy, she aims to reach and help as many people as possible, guided by her purpose and deep compassion for those in need of spiritual guidance and healing.
